Dr. Henderson holds a PhD in Curriculum, Instruction and Evaluation from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has over 30 years of experience in Higher Education teaching, program development, curricular development, evaluation and has held positions in both Academic Development (i.e. Academic Affairs) and Student Affairs (i.e. Counselling Center) as a Director of Assessment / Program Quality.
Dr. Henderson currently seeking challenging consulting, mentoring, thought leadership, and/or advisory board opportunities that will allow his to assist both secondary and postsecondary institutions with college preparation and persistence and completion challenges.
He has experience and expertise to assist both two year and four year colleges, universities, and other educational organizations identify and collect relevant data that will help improve their student retention and completion goals for their respective institution. Identifying effective campus programs are pivotal in this regard as well as developing new and innovative programs and strategies to ensure better student success outcomes that reflect the individual educational mission of each institution and organization.
